Situated in the heart of Fulham Broadway, Gianlucca’s coffee cult is the recently completed project by Cat Dal Interiors. A special collaboration with Ardour Designs, our brief was to convert a dark and cluttered two storey grade II listed building into a minimalistic, relaxed and modern space. On the ground floor concrete Hexagon pendants float over the marble breakfast bar, and Kokedama plants swing delicately reflecting onto an antique mirror.

A fireplace was lovingly restored with geometric tiles and a stunning marble frame. Upstairs we continued the muted palette and mix of textures, with bespoke leather banquettes with brass detailing, concrete wall lights and brass geometric terrariums. Working within a tight deadline, we completed the project 8 weeks after our initial meeting, and we are thrilled that the owner Gianluca is delighted with the result.

Award winning Jewellery designer Jessica De Lotz was walking to a Christmas party when she stumbled across a vacating shop in Kentish Town. Being a woman who knows exactly what she wants, she signed the papers there and then on the spot and suddenly found herself with a large empty canvas that was all hers!

My brief was to transform the space into a practical and spacious workshop in the back,  and a storytelling journey in the shop front. After delving into the background of her brand and learning about Jessica's appreciation and respect for the history behind furniture, books and art, we decided on a contrasting concept of materials old and new.

The result, a stunning eclectic space with art deco features, salvaged curiosities and cherished treasures.
